BOOK SCHOLARSHIP RULES

MONTGOMERY COUNTY AGGIE MOMS 2007-2008

Each Book Scholarship will be up to the amount of $200.00. There will be a total of 12 Book Scholarships awarded - six will be awarded in November 2007 and six will be awarded in March 2008. These Book Scholarships will be awarded at the regularly scheduled General Meeting of the Montgomery County Aggie Moms for each of these award months.

The following rules apply:

1. Student must be a resident of Montgomery County or the mother/guardian of student must be a paid member of Montgomery County Aggie Moms.

2. Student must be enrolled at Texas A&M College Station or Texas A&M Galveston for the semester being awarded. (Fall - November awards; Spring - March awards.)

3. Each participant must complete the entry form completely.

4. Winner need not be present to win.

5. Only one entry per student per meeting attended (general and/or craft). If the entry is completed via e-mail or phone contact, only one entry per student per semester award.

6. A Club member may enter only the names of their children, stepchildren, grandchildren or guardianship children.

7. Entry forms will be drawn until all scholarships have been awarded. Any winner not present will be contacted and provided with the Book Scholarship Form.

8. Students may win one award per Club fiscal year.

9. The winning student must present a copy of their receipts for textbooks along with a copy of their student i.d. and a copy of the student's schedule for the semester being awarded. The receipts and completed Form must be returned to the Board by the end of the following month. Completed documentation can be mailed to the Club at:

Only textbooks are eligible for reimbursement. Payment will be for the amount of textbooks up to $200.00. A check will be mailed to the student.
